Gail was born and grew up in Santa Barbara, California. She moved to Bozeman in 1981. Before beginning at The Library in February of 1992, she taught preschool for 14 years. She works full-time in the Circulation Department. In January of 2006, she became the coordinator of the adult volunteers in The Library. She and her husband, Ed, have two adult daughters and a son-in-law. Away from the Library, Gail likes to write fiction and is a member of a local writing group. She also likes to explore Bozeman on foot, hike, canoe and cook.
