The Children's Room has a new mascot - The Bison Buddy, a small finger puppet that can be checked out for 2 weeks (search the catalog with Bison Buddy as a title - if all Bison Buddies are check out, you can place a hold). The Bison Buddy loves to travel, so take one along on your family adventures! Share his travels on the Bison Buddy Blog by uploading photos, videos and journal entries. See all the cool places our Bison Buddy has visited!
It is especially important that all school-age kids read over the summer, and one of the best ways to make that happen is to visit the Library! Research shows that kids who read six or more books over the summer see improvement in their reading achievement.Call the Children's Desk at 582-2404 for more information about summer programs.
