On Tuesday, May 7 at 7pm, Montana author and attorney Roberta Zenker will share her story and read from her memoir, TransMontana, A Memoir of Transformation in Body, Mind & Spirit. This book is the story of Montana hunter and county attorney Robert Zenker’s transition from a male to a female. Roberta inhabited the body and all the accoutrement of the life of a man in Montana for nearly 50 years before her transition in 2007. The remarkable story of her life is a complex, courageous, and sometimes dangerous journey involving not only physical transition, but also alcohol recovery and the result of both—a spiritual transformation. Zenker will present a multi-media show while signing copies of her book. For more information about this free event sponsored by the Library Foundation, call Paula at 582-2426.
