Join us on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30 for a free screening of “The Color of Fear," a documentary by Lee Mun Wah. This is “an insightful, groundbreaking film about the state of race relations in America as seen through the eyes of eight North American men of Asian, European, Latino and African descent. In a series of intelligent, emotional and dramatic confrontations the men reveal the pain and scars that racism has caused them. What emerges is a deeper sense of understanding and trust.” Following the film, a discussion regarding white privilege, internalized oppression, and healing racism in our community will be facilitated by Dr. Eduardo Duran and Dr. Judith Firehammer. Continuing education credits may be available for mental health professionals, free of charge. Call 600-1202 for further information.
