The Library's basic computer classes start will begin in September and will include:
Sept. 3 and 10--Introduction to Computers: Learn the basics of using your computer in a two-part class. This fun class is for persons with limited experience to learn the basic components of the computer, the Windows operating system, and how to effectively use a mouse.
Sept. 17--Gmail Basics: Learn how to send and receive email using your Gmail account. Some basic computer skills needed.
Sept. 24-- Introduction to the Internet: Confused about getting started? Learn about the Internet and take the first step into cyberspace. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the function and structure of the Internet, search engines , Internet terminology, hyperlinks, ways to connect to the Internet, and simple searching.
Classes are from 2-3pm and are held in the Board Room on the second floor. Please join us by calling 582-2410 to reserve your spot.
