October 12, 6:00-7:00pm, Bozeman Public Library Atrium Gallery Art Opening Reception for aerial photographer, Chris Boyer Boyer’s work will be on display in October through November with a portion of sale proceeds benefiting the Bozeman Public Library Foundation. The reception is sponsored by the Bozeman Library Foundation and will have light snacks and beverages, providing the public an opportunity to meet Boyer. From his website: “The aerial view has been a cornerstone of my land ethic ever since I earned my pilot's license during a Master’s program in fluvial geomorphology, hydrology and political science. In the classroom, I learned the complex formulas describing erosion, deposition, shear stress, and sediment transport. In the air, I saw these complex relationships sculpted onto Oregon’s coastal, mountain, and desert landscapes.
