Introduction to Computers I and II: Learn the basics of using your computer in a fun class! This class is for persons with limited experience and use of computers. Participants will learn the basic components of the computer, the Windows operating system, and how to effectively use a mouse.

Introduction to the Internet: Confused about getting started on the Information Highway? Learn about the Internet and take the first step into cyberspace. Participants will learn about and gain a basic understanding of the function and structure of the Internet and the World Wide Web, search engines and strategies, Internet terminology, hyperlinks and how they make the web possible, ways to connect to the Internet, simple searching, and how to locate interesting and useful websites. *Prerequisites:"Introduction to the Computer" or the equivalent skills.

Introduction to Microsoft Word I: This class is for people with limited experience using word processing software. Participants will learn the basic MS Word tools, how to save documents to a disc, basic formatting commands including setting margins, selecting and modifying text, cutting and pasting text, and how to open and save documents. Participants will also learn multiple ways of completing particular tasks using MS Word. This is not a typing or keyboarding class. *Prerequisites: "Introduction to the Computer" or the equivalent skills.

Introduction to Microsoft Word II: This class is for people with some experience using word processing software. Participants will learn how to insert and work with photographs or clip art, create lists, and format paragraphs. This is not a typing or keyboarding class. *Prerequisites: "Introduction to the Computer" and “Introduction to Microsoft Word I” or the equivalent skills.
Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint I and II: This class will show participants how to create a PowerPoint slide show, how to change the slide background and colors and how to add clip art and sounds to their presentations.*Prerequisites: "Introduction to the Computer" or equivalent skills, experience with Microsoft Word is preferred.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel I: This class will show participants how to recognize and create a basic spreadsheet; basic formatting (alignment, numbers, font style, and size); sorting your spreadsheet; basic equations and formulas as well as cell references; printing and saving your work. *Prerequisites: "Introduction to the Computer" or equivalent skills; experience with Microsoft Word is preferred.
