Join us for a lunchtime series of workshops on money April 22-26. Presenters from MSU Extension Service and Rural Dynamics will share their knowledge about various topics during Money Smart Week. The one hour sessions will be held in the small Conference Room from noon-1:00 pm. Topics include:
April 22--Talking With Aging Parents About Finances and Estate Planning. Dr. Marsha Goetting will provide strategies to help adult children overcome barriers that hinder conversations with aging family members about money.
April 23--Protect Your Finances. Learn how to protect yourself from predatory lending, identification theft, and scams.
April 24--What's Your Credit Score and What Does It Mean? This session will cover how credit scores are calculated, what they are used for, and how they affect the consumer.
April 26--Get A Grip on Your Money. Discuss budgeting, tracking your money and progress toward saving goals, and free available resources .
