The Reference Desk is located on the second floor. The staff at the Reference Desk is available to help you find the information you need. The Reference Collection contains resource materials that do not check out. These items can be found on BridgerNet Library Catalog or by asking a Reference Librarian. The collection includes:
Montana Room Collection The Montana Room houses the Montana and local history collection. All of the material is classified as reference and may not be taken from the Library. The room may be used during regular library hours.
Business Collection The Business Collection includes company directories, industry surveys and statistics, market research data, government publications, start-a-business publications, trade association listings and sample business plans. It also includes current magazines and newspapers, phone books, zip code directories and Value Line. Some Montana publications available in the Reference Business Collection include Montana Code Annotated, Montana Business Directory, Montana Business Quarterly and Montana Manufacturers Directory. For information on companies try AtoZ Databases online (you'll need your library barcode number).
Grantwriting Collection The Library is a member of the Foundation Center Cooperating Collections Network and has a core collection of materials on grantwriting and funding sources located near the Reference collection. The Foundation Center's online database is available from within the library. Ask the Reference Desk for the username and password.
