At the Library

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are welcome at the Library. Volunteers perform a variety of duties, but most importantly they organize and re-shelf returned books and help with children's activities. You will need to fill out a volunteer application and meet with the Teen Librarian, Ginny, to answer a few questions and arrange training. For minors, a guardian’s signature is required. Call 582-2404 for more information.

Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Teens are encouraged to participate in periodic meetings of the TAG. Can't make it on a regular basis? Let us know you're interested and we'll keep you in mind for short term work projects that benefit the library, such as the helping with the book sale or spring clean-up.

TEENS MAKE IT HAPPEN
A new program at the Library this year highlights some of the experiences of teens in our community. We've heard from someone who hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, a filmmaker and a pair of young adults about life in Peru and Montana. If you know a teen who has done something you want to hear about, contact Ginny at 582-2404.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM
“Make Waves” is the teen summer theme and teens can submit book reviews for prizes.
