Show/Hide

We are beginning a phased re-opening plan for the Library! Starting Friday, May 15th, we are starting to take returns. Returns will only be accepted on Fridays until further notice: see instructions. On Monday, May 18th we begin curbside pickups for holds. Please see instructions for how this process works. The Library will remain closed during this phase. We are following guidelines from the state, the County Health Department and the City of Bozeman for re-opening slowly and we look forward to seeing you sometime soon in the future.

Food For Fines

The Library is again collecting food for fines during MSU's Can the Griz campaign, an off-field competition between MSU and the U of M to see which community can collect the most donations for their local food banks.

You can take care of your fines and help the Bobcats and the Gallatin Valley Food Bank by bringing non-perishable food items to the Library from Saturday, November 9, through Saturday, November 23. The Library will waive $1.00 in fines per food item up to $20.00.

Suggested food items include: canned soups, canned fruit and fruit juice, canned vegetables, cereal, tuna, and hamburger helper.

The food bank cannot accept expired items, damaged items, or items without labels. This offer does not cover lost or damaged materials.

For questions, call the Circulation Department at (406) 582-2408.
