Food For Fines
This year the Library is collecting food for fines during Montana State University’s Can the Griz campaign, an off-field competition between MSU and the University of Montana to see which community can collect the most donations for their local food banks. You can take care of your fines, help the Bobcats, and support the Gallatin Valley Food Bank by bringing non-perishable food items to the Library from Saturday, November 9, through Saturday, November 23. The Library will waive $1.00 in fines per food item up to $20.00. Suggested food items include: canned soups, canned fruit, canned fruit juice, canned vegetables, cereal, tuna, and hamburger helper. The food bank cannot accept expired items, damaged items, or items without labels, and this offer does not cover lost or damaged materials. For questions, call the Circulation Department at 582-2408.
