Bozeman Public Library is grateful for gifts of books, DVDs, music CDs, audio books and other materials which are an important supplement to our collection. You may drop off donations at the westside back door (ring the bell) or at the Circulation Desk during open hours Monday-Saturday.
Please remember that donated materials become the property of Bozeman Public Library. If they are not selected by the staff for the collection, they may be sold at the Friends of Bozeman Public Library book sale. A tax receipt for all donations will be provided if requested.
Donation days and times are the same as Library hours, excluding Sundays:
- Monday-Thursday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Items we accept:
- Books, DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks and records
- Textbooks from the last 10 years only
- Donations of antique or collectible books
Items we do not accept:
- Textbooks older than 10 years
- Encyclopedia sets
- Damaged Books
Book donations should be in good to best condition- please recycle your books with stains, tears, missing pages, water and/or mold damage.
Donations may be dropped off at the westside back door near the south end of the Library (ring the bell for assistance) or at the Circulation Desk.
