Account Notifications via Text

Shoutbomb is a texting service that sends notifications on your phone of available holds, items due soon, items overdue and fines that have accrued on your library account.

Renewing Items

Items can be renewed up to 2 times, unless there are holds.  You may renew items through your library account online, over the phone at (406) 582-2408, in-person, and through the library’s self-checks.

Returning Items

Library items may be returned in the book-drops located in the lobby and outside on the west side of the building.

Placing Holds

Holds can be placed through your library account online. Patrons are allowed 10 holds at a time. When your hold is available for pick up, you will be notified via email (or phone if no email is provided).  If the items are in and on the shelf, please allow the Library at least 24 hours to fill your request.

Fines

Fines are $0.10 per day on all materials, with a maximum fine of $10.00 per item. You may renew any item 2 times either in-person, at the self-check, by telephone, or by accessing the Library Catalog unless there are holds on the item. If you accumulate $10.00 in fines or more, your account will be blocked until the fines are paid.
