We are beginning a phased re-opening plan for the Library! Starting Friday, May 15th, we are starting to take returns. Returns will only be accepted on Fridays until further notice: see instructions. On Monday, May 18th we begin curbside pickups for holds. Please see instructions for how this process works. The Library will remain closed during this phase. We are following guidelines from the state, the County Health Department and the City of Bozeman for re-opening slowly and we look forward to seeing you sometime soon in the future.

While the library is closed for the current pandemic, we are issuing virtual library cards for those who want to access our services but don't have cards. You can apply for a virtual card here

Library cards are free for residents of Bozeman and Gallatin County. Stop by the Information Desk at the Library’s entrance to start your Library Card application.
