City of Bozeman Volunteer Policy

Adults

The Library onboards volunteers for specific roles on an as-needed basis. The Library is not offering court-ordered community service hours at this time.

Open Positions

Mobile Services Volunteer: Accompany the Mobile Services team on August 15th & 22nd, and September 5th & 12th and help with lifting, carrying, and transporting a collection of books around town. The volunteer should feel comfortable repeatedly lifting and moving 30-50 lb. bins of items. We visit various neighborhoods and assisted living centers and bring books to people unable to come into the library. Volunteers can assist with multiple or single Saturdays. We look forward to hearing from you!

Group Volunteering
