Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bozeman Public Library is closed to the public. This is in effect Tuesday, March 17th until further notice. We are asking that you keep your checked out items at home. Our book drops will be closed. All due dates have been extended for 8 weeks. Please see our website for further updates. Thank you for your patience and stay healthy. Message from Susan Gregory, Library Director.

We offer free classes on a variety of topics, from sewing to salsa dancing, crafting to composting. Check out our calendar for the latest events.

Whether you want to learn about your family's history, compare the newest phone models, or you are exploring a new hobby, the Library offers numerous resources both online and in person to help meet your interests.

Extended Library

Beyond the books, CDs, and other standard library items, we also have unique collections and specialized services available. Start a garden by borrowing seeds from the Seed Library or create digital content with the Pro Tools software available in the LAB. Other extended services included our local Montana history and Yellowstone collection and Interlibrary Loan service.
