Yarn Crafts

Do you knit, crochet, macrame, or dabble in other yarn or fiber crafting? Bring your project and join other creatives for a casual crafting hang out at the Library on Monday nights! Beginning Monday, September 30, we'll meet in the small community room in the lobby from 5:00 - 7:00 PM weekly. Drop in!

Crafternoon

A monthly craft program for ages 18 + with an emphasis on reusing goods! Past crafternoons have included: book journals, homemade paper, decoupage gourds, paper folding, and more!

Registration required on the monthly calendar event.

Crochet Classes

Crochet classes for ages 18+
Registration is required and now open! Class is limited to 12 participants. If you sign up and can’t make it to class, please cancel your registration
 
Wednesday, February 12,  3:00-5:00 PM:  Crochet in the round: learn how to do the single and double crochet stitch and start a hat project. Please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice and a hook size G, H or J
 
Friday, February 28, 3:00-5:00 PM:  Granny Squares: Learn how to make Granny Squares and start a lap blanket! Please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice and a hook size G, H or J
 
Friday, March 6, 3:00-5:00 PM:  Granny Squares continued: learn some new stitches and work on your lap blanket. Please bring a skein of worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice and a hook size G, H or J
