Do you have a passion for reading or libraries? Do you want to share
your video or performative skills with teens across the country? The
Teen Video Challenge is for you!
The Teen Video Challenge, sponsored by the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP), is an annual national video contest open to all teens. The challenge is for teens to create a public service announcement-type video that shows their unique interpretation of the 2020 CSLP slogan “Imagine Your Story.” Videos are to be no longer than 60 seconds and should promote libraries and reading. (More details are available on the CSLP Teen Video Challenge website.)
Five winners will be chosen and will receive: a $200 cash prize, and $50 worth of summer reading materials for their library!
Videos will be accepted June 1 through August 7, 2020
Need to do some last-minute paper edits or need another computer for a group project? Stop by the Children's Desk with your library card to check-out one of our new Teen Chromebooks! These Chromebooks are for teen use only (ages 12 - 19) and must be used/kept in the Library and returned to the Children's Desk before closing on the same day of check-out.
